Mobile Programming

On Saturday, January 19, 2014, I submitted my first mobile app to the windows phone store. This app is a virtual odometer, using the user’s GPS coordinates to track how far they travelled between when they press the start and the stop measuring button. It gets a new GPS location every few seconds and uses the Haversine formula to calculate the distance between the users locations.

This app is for the Windows Phone, but I will soon make a version for Android and iOS. Now that I am done with Warthog Wars, I am going to start making mobile apps from now on.
